SpiceOLife Present Tense GCH

Arboria Noble Victor x SpiceOLife Allura B by Shaker's Alimon

Foaled on May 6, 2002, SpiceOLife Present Tense GCH – DW to his friends, fans, and family – was by the bold, athletic Arboria Noble Victor and out of the gorgeous SpiceOLife Allura B.  From his early days in the fields of Florida to his last performance at the 2014 Grand National, DW enjoyed performing for his people. In his lifetime, DW won 6 World Championships and 4 Reserve World Championships.  He showed in 70 classes over his career, winning 54 of them with 10 reserves.  He is only the third horse to win both the Open Park Harness (2014) and Open Park Saddle (2008) World Championships.  He was named 2014 People’s Choice Horse of the Year.  He will be inducted in the Jubilee Hall of Fame during its 50th Anniversary this fall. A crowd favorite throughout his show ring career; his athletic ability, charisma, personality, and pedigree also made him the choice of breeders hoping to add all of those characteristics to the next generation.

His influence in the breeding shed is already coming to prominence in the show ring. Intense, owned by Roxanne Sardelli Greenway, earned the 2014 Morgan Weanling Gala Championship along with Best Performance in Show at the Jubilee under the direction of John Hufferd. Arboria Arion GCH followed in his sire’s footsteps with three world titles as a junior horse. Miss Velvet Brown won the 2014 Jubilee Futurity Weanling Fillies Championship under the direction of Diane Conrady and Fantasize won the 2014 Jubilee Futurity Yearling Colts/Geldings Championship under the direction of John Hufferd.  Fantasize was purchased early in 2015 for Anthony Alagna and partners and is now in training with Diane. DW’s offspring are inheriting his big heart, strong work ethic, and bright personality – traits that play a significant role in show ring performance.

Sadly, a mere six months after his epic 2014 World Park Harness Championship performance, the Morgan world lost this grand stallion and Diane Conrady Stables lost a member of the family on April 11, 2015.

We take comfort in knowing that he left his stamp on the Morgan breed and will continue to do so through his offspring.  We know that he touched many lives and they are better for it; we know that we are.  While we are devastated by his untimely passing, we are looking forward to his offspring gracing the show ring for years to come.
